This continuing series of experimental paper works explores through colour what is contained within the surface of a leaf, a petal or a seed.

Felicity extract’s the natural pigments from local plants, seeds and soil samples and present the work as a collection of book signatures steeped in a solution of plant pigments, the colours are drawn up the pages to form the visual narrative within the book block when combined and bound in a book of ‘moments’ relating to a specific time and location.

The natural colours are beautiful, often muted and sometimes briefly brilliant and often surprising when seperated in this way, the work is allowed to fade and evolve over time.
