Showing work by:
Jenny Pope
Liz Douglas
Felicity Bristow
This exhibition has been developed over the year, involving visits to and conversations at the archives at Live Borders Museums in both Hawick and Selkirk and is inspired by some of the pieces we examined, some of these will also be shown alongside the work we have made.
‘For this exhibition the artists will create new work that investigates ‘tools for survival’ with a specific focus on the rural environment of the Scottish Borders, using artefacts from the Hawick Museum and Selkirk archives and other relevant sources to question and challenge notions in a contemporary visual context.’
If you are able to come along to join us please RSVP to the following email. Please also share this with anyone you think might be interested in coming along: hawickmuseum@liveborders1.org.uk
